The website is slowly starting to take shape now, fliers section is getting there and the live pictures as well. Quite a few new shows have been added - so check the gig page out to see when we're playing near you. The May 27th show at the Cellar Bar in Bracknell is also being recorded so we can use the tracks in the future, so come along and heckle the fuck out of us! Gareth loves it!

oo 19/04/07 - Show tomorrow in Southampton. Should be loads of fun, great line up, so make sure you make it along.

We've also had two tracks included on a new compilation cd by Pumpkin Records called "South West Punks Two". We'll get details up here soon on how you can get hold of copies of this cd, but here's the artwork and you can check out the full tracklisting.

oo 11/04/07 - ROLL CALL TIME....The Turks in Reading tomorrow night - be there, we've put a great line up together once again, so come out and support these awesome d.i.y. punk rock shows, free entry and cheap booze! There is some other cool stuff in the pipeline, which we'll announce as and when we get it confirmed. We've got some great shows and support slots coming up soon - so do check the gigs page out and come check us out - cheers!

oo 08/04/07 - First up sorry we're not at Silkfest this weekend - Gareth is away drinking his ass off in Blackpool. Unfortunately, we've also had to cancel the show in Seaton on June 23rd as Gareth is off to Glastonbury. We have announced a date in London in Clerkenwell though in May, so come along and see us there. Also, on Friday night there was an awards show in Newbury run by a local zine and Mr. T took home the award for best guitarist! He's got a funky little medal in a presentation box and everything! Loads more fun shit in the pipeline, so keep an eye on the site as we announce it....

oo 30/03/07 - We have pictures up now of our rather fetching t-shirts as modelled by CBeebies presenter Sarah-Jane Honeywell - check out the shop page!

Don't forget to drop us a line if you wanna get on the concession list for the My Awesome Compilation show at The Fez in Reading next week. This week has seen a little bit of pres action, Chris has been interviewed for a zine and Mr. T did an interview for local Reading mag Blah Blah - when these appear we'll let you know.

oo 14/03/07 - Last weekend was immense fun both @ Epic and Hounslow. This Friday we're in Ipswich and then Sunday is our monthly night at the Turks in Reading. Hope to see you all there. Week after we're in Slough and Gareth + Mr. T's hometown, Newbury. Fliers below. Cheers.

Also here's a bonus picture of the Second In Line boys with Phil (Pete/Tina) from The Stats from Hounslow last Saturday:

oo 06/03/07 - We've been confirmed as supporting My Awesome Compilation at the Fez in Reading on March 29th - if you can make it drop us a line and we should be able to sort you out a concession price to get in. Cheers. Dan should be back in action this weekend, so come see us in Birmingham on Friday night.

oo 01/03/07 - Really sorry we've had to cancel both the Norwich and Windsor shows this weekend. We've played through illness and fevers before but when your drummer has done his hand then that's it. Dan has injured his hand, might be tendons or ligaments, not sure yet but we're sorry we've had to pull these shows, massive apologies to the promoters and other bands and everyone who was looking forward to seeing us. Hopefully we can reschedule and visit you all later in the year. So once again we are really sorry.

oo 26/02/07 - We had an amazing time last week with those crazy lads The Stats. Big thanks to everyone who came out to the shows, much appreciated. Next up we're in Norwich on Friday, so hopefully some of you will be up there to see us and then Saturday we're hitting Windsor for the Grizzley Ends CD launch night - come along and support the show, it's gonna be loads of fun!

oo 20/02/07 - So we're off on a mini 4-day jaunt from tomorrow. Camden tomorrow should be a bundle of fun. Then a sweet Reading show on Thurs @ the Turks which promises to be top stuff. Fliers here:

Also we now have a monthly residency at the awesome Turks in Reading. So we're looking for bands who fancy gigswaps with us, we have dates available so do drop us a line now either via here or the Myspace page. Cheers.

oo 18/02/07 - We're on a four date mini jaunt this week taking in Camden, Reading, Brentwood and Hounslow - should be loads of fun. The Stats are joining us on three of the dates so that'll be a disco, disco all the way! We have a couple of really exciting things in the pipeline right now, we don't wanna give too much away, but one is a few fun gigs in the sunshine and the other is the chance of a very cool guest vocalist on the album. When we have anything confirmed we'll let you know on here. So please try and get out to the shows this week, would be awesome to see you. Cheers.

oo 08/02/07 - Had a great night in Reading last night with Gimble and Six Fish. Big shout out to the last minute sound engineer, thanks a bundle fella. Awesome show coming up this Sunday at the Turks in Reading - Dee's birthday bash with 5 bands, free entry and it'll be more fun that most other things, so make sure you're there!

oo 01/02/07 - Awesome night in Slough last night, thanks to The Stats, 2 Sick Monkeys, Duke + Gary for everything. Special mention to Stu from The Stats for proudly sporting the pink t-shirt all night. Apparently it was like a Pride march whatever that is!

Show tomorrow night in Southampton with those rogues Gimble, should be fun down on the south coast, be there! Some more shows have been added as well, check the gigs page out. Cheers.

oo 31/01/07 - Show tonight @ The Eco Bar in Slough - come along. Should be a great night with The Stats and 2 Sick Monkeys playing too. More shows in the pipeline and should be confirmed soon, so keep an eye on here and our Myspace

oo 24/01/07 - We're live!!! Finally welcome to the new Second In Line website. It's all swish and we like it very fucking much. I guess after having the last design for around 4 years a change is well overdue. There will be loads of changes going on over the next few weeks as we add content and the main picture will change too. So take a look round at what little we have here right now and check the gigs page out - we've got loads coming up and loads more in the pipeline. So come see us live! Cheers!

oo 17/01/07 - Thanks to everyone in Andover on Sunday, great night, cheers to Vice Squad, Zoe @ the George, the Gimble boys for representing and all you others. We had a real fun night, although it was rather lonely playing without Chris. Loads of gigs in the pipeline right now, the gigs page is updated pretty regularly so keep a check on it. Also we may have some pretty sweet news for July, more as and when we can announce it. Next show is in Slough at the end of the month, should be super fun what withn The Stats playing it as well! See ya there! Cheers!

oo 09/01/07 - Happy new year and all that. So let's start off with the bad news - we've had to cancel the show tomorrow in Reading. We've not been able to get in contact with the venue/promoter/other bands so sorry about that. But - we have confirmed some new shows up, so check the gigs page out for the full list. On Sunday we went into the studio and cut our rather unique version of "Cherokee" by Swedish rock legends Europe for possible inclusion on a tribute CD coming out via Argentina. More news on this as and when we get it. The session went pretty well, apart from Mr. T being really ill all day and probably passing his germs on to the rest of the band. Next show is this coming Sunday @ the George in Andover supporting Vice Squad. Should be an awesome night, Vice Squad are a great band, it's the debut show for their new drummer, tickets are only £4 (apparently) - so hope to see everyone there. Cheers.

oo 29/12/06 - Well we hope everyone had a good Christmas and enjoy your new year in a couple of days. The gigs are booking up nicely for next year already, but the important one is Jan 14th - we're now supporting the amazing legends that are VICE SQUAD at the George in Andover. Tickets are available from us, so drop us a line pretty quickly as this will sell out and we have some dirt cheap tickets available for it, not one to be missed.

...

The T-shirts are here and selling well already, they're available in black, red and pink - but do check sizes with us as some sizes are already nearly sold out! They're just a fiver at shows and if you want one posted to ya they're £6 UK post paid. A true fucking bargain and you know it, so buy one. The CD's are also still available for just £2 and it's just been reviewed in Issue Zine and well they gave it a damn fine review, we'll get it online as soon as we can...maybe on the new website we've been promising for ages. Right come see us live.....next up is Reading on Jan 10th, cheers!

oo 15/12/06 - Awesome night with the UK Subs last night, what legends! Also big props to Kamikaze Sperm, great people, great band, was cool playing with them the last couple of nights. So the year is finished for us gig wise - we managed to rack in 44 shows this year - our best yearly haul to date. We have a load we hope to confirm up for next year and also the album to come out. T-shirts are available now, we'll get a picture up here soon and as promised one day a new website! So thanks for all your support this year, it's been awesome and we'll see you all in 2007!

oo 13/12/06 - Swindon tonight and Andover (with the UK Subs) tomorrow night. T-shirts should be on sale from tomorrow. More shows in the pipeline, few confirmed and a load to come soon. We're hoping to swing a cool support slot on Jan 14th if all goes to plan. Keep an eye on the site and the Myspace site for details.

oo 30/11/06 - Show in Newbury tomorrow night, be there! The T-shirts are now on order and will be available soon from gigs and also this site. We're also in the process of sorting a mini tour/jaunt out with those rogues The Stats in February, stay tuned for the dates on this mini extravaganza - coming soon!

oo 22/11/06 - Loads more shows in the pipeline - and we mean loads! A couple more have been confirmed for this year, but we're already booking up dates for next year. The big news is that we've hit the 100 show mark. It was something we wanted to achieve and we've made it! Next up is the 200 mark - bring it on!

Merchandise update: We're hoping the t-shirts will be ready in time for the UK Subs show on Dec 14th. We'll also have a new stock of stickers and badges soon too. These will of course be avail on the new website - when it's finally sorted and up.

oo 17/11/06 - Last night was truly awesome, thanks loads to The Stats, Peng, Alex Gimble, Dee and the Turks and of course the mighty dancing Ivo (legend!). Looks like we'll be repeating the night in February as well. We're playing at the Monument in Newbury tonight, we'll be on sometime around 9.45/10pm.

oo 13/11/06 - Friday in Ipswich was awesome as always, cheers to Er... For putting us on. Wish we could say Saturday was just as good, but it really wasn't. Long story we won't get into it, but to be honest it was a complete waste of our time. We're in Reading on Thursday night @ the Turks - free entry and some great bands on the bill, so come along. Also, a Newbury show this coming Friday night. Another free entry one, so another great night on the cards. T-shirts will be available in a couple of weeks.

oo 09/11/06 - SECOND IN LINE IN LIVE WEBCAM BROADCAST! Yes it's true! Tomorrow's acoustic set @ Know Your Product Records in Ipswich can be seen on the shop's official site and webcams. Gareth and Mr. T will be playing the set around 4pm, so you can log on and check it out live here: Know Your Product Records - Live Webcams

oo 03/11/06 - AWESOME NEWS!!! - We have just been confirmed to open up a show tomorrow night supporting EVEN IN BLACKOUTS!!! This awesome band featuring ex-members of SCREECHING WEASEL, THE QUEERS AND THE TEEN IDOLS!!! It's @ the Red Lion in Kilburn, London. Doors are at 8pm and we're on pretty soon after that - so get there early! Great news though, we're really chuffed rigtht now! Also, we'll have new t-shirts for sale soon, just finalising the design, they'll be avail within a month and would of course make perfect Christmas presents for everyone you know...reserve 'em now! And an E.P. is for sale at gigs now priced a reasonable £2. If you wanna order one in the post, drop us a line!

oo 02/11/06 - Few new shows have been added, one in Newbury in a couple of weeks time as well. We'll also have the new site up as soon as we can! Stay tuned for that too!

oo 25/10/06 - Bad news - we have unfortunately had to cancel the Halloween show in Newbury - sorry about that everyone. Lots of cool stuff to come. We have also just been in to cut a live recording. We headed into the studio @ Ealing Film Studios with Sarah from Heroic Doses at the controls. We cut 5 live versions - expect to hear them sometime in the future. New tunes, new shows, new merch and the album are on the horizon too - stay tuned!

oo 19/10/06 - Kilburn was awesome, great night and some guest bass from Chris as well on a few tracks. What a brave performance from him, learnt the songs off the CD and went for it. Crazy man, but damn impressive. So we have now asked Chris to come on board, funnily enough he just left his previous band as well, so the timing could not have been better. Chris has previously been in "The King Blues", "The Inline Sk8ing Barbies" and "The Sharons" to name a few. Mr. T and Chris have known each other about ten years and we can see this being the right move to push Second In Line forward. So Chris becomes the 12th member of the band, please join us to welcome him into the craziness that is Second In Line. Oh yeah and there's a show in Newbury tomorrow night - so do come along!

oo 16/10/06 - Unfortunately we have parted ways with Ern on bass. We're still all good mates and there's no hard feelings. It's just one of those things really. We wish Ern all the best of luck with any new projects and we'll all still be going out on the beer together. Thanks for some great times Ern. The memory that'll always stick with us is definitely when the dirty sod farted so much in a kebab shop in Torquay that they kicked him out and he managed to clear the customers right out! Not sure if we'll recruit or stay as a three piece right now. Playing in Kilburn tonight so come down ans check it out!

oo 11/10/06 - We're supporting the mighty UK Subs in December @ the George in Andover. Pretty fookin sweet news! More news on the Europe tribute soon, we'll have a recording date for it soon. Also, new hometown show added on the 20th October at the good ole Monument public house, so come on Newburyites - show your support and come out for this one!

oo 09/10/06 - Ipswich show added in December. Also, we're contributing a track to a tribute CD to the mighty Swedish rock gods Europe. We're gonna be trying out the tracks "Cherokee" and "I'll Cry For You" - hopefully we'll make the project, put together by a label in Argentina! Stay tuned for more info on this...
